Chiropractors focus on treatment of musculoskeletal ( MSK) and neuromusculoskeletal (nMSK) disorders of the joints, muscles, and the nerves supplying them. Chiropractors play a key role in helping the patients live their lifestyle with improved physical mobility.  In terms of pain management, this can range from acute injuries to treatment of more long-term or complex conditions such as fibromyalgia, rheumatic disorders, and pregnancy based pelvic pain.  When the condition is outside of their scope of practice, chiropractors can also  help give informed referral to other healthcare practitioners and work in a collaborative healthcare team for the patient's ongoing care.
